Greetings from a Milwaukee blizzard... I must say
that turning 45--halfway to 90!--ain't bad at all. A number of us made the big
45 this month--it was GREAT on Wednesday night to attend Annie Melchior's
birthday dinner/house party and to see and chat with Clare Cheney-Sedelak and
Kelly Marti-Slater there and exchange a few hugs and enjoy some stellar
vegetarian Indian food together. (It seems that we class of 78'ers are truly an
ageless bunch--Annie with her yoga, Clare and Kelly are certainly doing
something right, and apparently all the drugs I did years back have had an
unexpected preservative effect.) It's so terrific to see classmates at times
in-addition-to our class reunions. Maybe we can do something this summer in
Oconomowoc--Fowler Park or whatever--on a warm sunny day.... Happy Gnu Year all.

Just wanted to share this graduation photo of my
son, Ben, who will be graduating from PioneerWestfield High School in June. At
18, Ben is the oldest of two children. He's single, doesn't do drugs, has never
been arrested, and has no children of his own (that I know of). He's a great kid
and I'm very proud of him.
