To Whom it May Concern:

As stated in "Documentation" dated 4/20/03, "Applicants to the DOL/IE program may submit a professional portfolio if MAT/GRE exams are older than five years." As I have not recently sat for either of the required examinations, I respectfully request that the following brief portfolio be accepted instead.

My professional portfolio contains the following required items:

  1. Current résumé (professional engagement for past five years)

  2. Current job description (roles and responsibilities)

  3. Personal essay (300 words or less) highlighting:
    Why you are pursuing this doctorate in Leadership/International Education

  4. Identification of professional journals/periodicals that are read regularly

  5. Any additional information that provides testimony to your capacity to engage in doctoral work – e.g., professional experiences, teaching, etc.
