ITeachNet is about collegiality and teacher-empowerment. There's a strong argument to say that supporting the primary care-givers, the teachers, is the best way to support their students. Teachers, however, must support each other as well, and ultimately they must be responsible for their own continuing professional development. ITeachNet gives all parties the opportunity to support themselves and each other.

If you are a teacher or administrator interested in sharing what you know, learning from colleagues with similar interests, or sharing professional information such as résumés or job openings, then this is the place for you. Membership includes photo galleries, blogs [3] for news ideas and reflection, forums [4] for discussion, and portfolios [5] for your professional, er, uh, well, portfolios of your professional work.

Additionally, if you are an international educator with a service to offer or a book to publish, we would like you to become part of the iteachnet.org team: offer your service via our pages; better yet, become an iteachnet.org consultant and/or author. It's an easy way for you to gain control over your own intellectual property and for all concerned to benefit: schools, colleagues and you.
